31. Philippe Sarde - On Voit Ce Soir - {Easy Tempo - Vol. 10}Alas, here it is...after probably 20+ different attempts at a suitable tribute to one of my all-time mixers and good friend...My Tribute to Moe.Early drafts included:* An All-Female Pop Compilation* A Sunshine/Soft Pop Mix* A Twee/Indie Pop Collection* And a Mo-town Mix......Get it!? "Mo(e)"-Town!!! Yes, I know...I'm an idiot.Anyhoo, though all of them had great potential, none of them spoke to me in the way Moe's Mixes do. And, by that, I wasn't smiling enoughSo, back to drawing board I went, and put together some hip-shakingest, funky grooves and sweet obscuro melodies I could muster...and after at least 10 different versions (culminating with a final "thumbs up" from my girlfriend), I finally have something worth posting. So, if you will, raise your glass and give a shout out to Moe!!!!And, to please the masses, the link provided (Click Track 1 Song) will allow you means to join in the party. Hope this thing works! (fingers crossed...make's typing difficult).

Heaven. I've hailed you & your mixes countless times before Mr Gnome. And Moe KNOWS I love his mixes & I hope and think the feeling is mutual. And there's a link to the entire mix!? As I said, Heaven..

Great tribute to a fantastic mix maker by a mixer who is not too shabby himself. All types of incredible tracks here making this thing work like a mofo. I couldn't help but snap the puzzle pieces together. No additives or fillers included in the process. I promise! Click here for DJ Karen Adams Mixed Version

Spectacular! And a DJ Karen re-mix to boot! 'Tis all good to be true, and, while Moe's a fine chap and all, it may be more than he deserves ;-)

Astonishing, astounding, fabulous, fantastic, fantastical, incredible, marvelous, miraculous, phenomenal, prodigious, stupendous, unbelievable, wonderful, wondrous!! Thanks so much Gnome-y! I'm always honored when someone takes the time to compile a mix for 'lil old me. Plenty of unfamiliar sounds here, but I'm familiar with some of the artists, so I know I'm in for a sonic treat. Thanks for the kind words from my fellow AOTMers, and DJ Karen for the mixed version. I can't wait to hear both versions, but my 56k modem is painfully slow :( And no tornadoZ, I haven't retired yet -- just operating in slow-Moe.

Astonishing, astounding, fabulous, fantastic, fantastical, incredible, marvelous, miraculous, phenomenal, prodigious, stupendous, unbelievable, wonderful, wondrous!! Indeed.., both the creator and the honoree! (I'd wondered how this project of yours would turn out; which way you'd go with it. Judging by your own comments this ended up well-thought-out and effective, too.)
A tip o' the helmet, to both of you! Hail 'Gnome! Hail Hail Moe! (We love that kid.)

Listening to this right now (I downloaded the DJ Karen version at my mom's house tonight) and am thoroughly impressed. A smile hasn't left my face since Shawn Lee turned the key, and I'm still grinnin' while Joe Simon's spinnin'. Thanks again! (and to Karen as well for her amazing DJ skills)

Ah, also late to the party as well, I see. This got temporarily lost on my desktop cluttered with great mixes. Every track a gem! Thanks, musicgnome!
