Comment:
That Nordic feeling.Feedback:
I recognize tracks 10 & 16 - those are also from "The Silence," right?
Who's your cellist on the Bach suites? I'm betting Bergman's was Casals?

Terrific. Better than the Cannes Film Festival.
nice surprise
The cellist is Rostropovich - austere and haunting.
Love the films of Bergman especially the ones with Bibi Andersson. Great compilation you've created here.
Gonna break out the Criterion Collection and revisit. This is so incredible. What a great tribute to an amazing director.
this is great to see, and probably even better to hear. Wild Strawberries is one of my favorite films. nice work, Luke.
Good lookin' mix for sure though I can't abide Begman Films with the exception of Wild Strawberries & Seventh Seal...Scott Walker by the way recorded a track called Seventh Seal based on movie.
what the gnome said.
very stylish and very collectable . . . . great cover too.what are the pauses all about?
oh, they're just there if anyone (i.e. me in the future) wants to recreate the mix - needed for the correct 'aural balance'...
This is incredible, I love Bergman almost as much as I love Tarkovsky. I wish there had been more music from my two favorite films of Bergman's (The Virgin Spring and Shame), but beggars can't be choosers. Keep up the good mixing!
this is what I've been wanting to listen to all week. it's still hard to believe that Bergman and Antonioni suddenly went galloping off to heaven together. Ingmar Bergman was simply one of the very best.
