I'm finding myself being pretty damn proud of this particular mix. I happen to love quirky pop music, and this will do the trick for me when I'm in that mood. I started out thinking that all I was going to put on it was British artists (they're so good at that quirky thing), but going through my music collection flushed out some surprises and some obvious (Wilco - how could I not put in at least one track?). Hope it does the trick for you, too.Feedback:
Novel idea, and well done. Worth as much pleasure as any mix of conventional pop music, if not more because it's so loopy (although I don't see the quirk in a few tracks, namely 8, 11, and 14). I like seeing New Pornos, Sparks, and Guided by Voices together for some reason :)
Fun songs here. This is one of the few mixes with "Burning with Optimism's Flame" out there...Great job!
Noticed this last week but was in a hurry to write a cmt. Looks, well upbeat and quirky; a fitting title, at least based on the few tracks that I recgnize. Great idea. If innarested in a trade pls drop me a line.
