Comment:

Been wanting to make a mix of this sort for some time. Inspired by: the many fine mixes by the illustrious DJ Karen, a noticable shortage of rap/hip-hop mixes and an urge to push the mixing envelope (for me at least) by compiling a mix utilizing some cross-fades and considerable track editing (while utilizing some new graphics techniques for the cover art). So, here it is a mix heavy with underground rappers and mighty turntablists. Hope you enjoy! And, of course, a big shout-out to DJ Karen!Mix at Track 1

Dope mix. I probably should take your lead too as I really under utilize my hip hop tuneage on mixes.

A top-ranking chassis-clanking cruise through the left-field featuring the usual suspects plus a couple of nice surprises.

A fantastic tribute - but that cover needs a few nubile scantily clad mixetters...

Very, very nice. Shadow & Krush well represented (Shadow kills it in part 2 of 'Duality'), Deltron 3030 & Dr. Octagon? I'm geeking out over here!

Good to see a well-done indie hip-hop mix around here.

. . . could have sworn I commented on this straight after failing to download . . .of course difficult to know what you have done without a listen, but I whole heartedly agree with the sentiment and that we need more quality hip hop around here.
