When I was in high school, a girl in the class above me introduced me to a lot of really fantastic music by giving me a mix she made titled Music For A Happy Summer Volume 2. I've never heard volume one, but I'm sure it's just as good as volume two was - mixing Billie Holiday, Bikini Kill and the Apples In Stereo. We've since fallen out of touch, but when I re-found the CD she gave me I figured I'd carry on the happy summer mixes myself. So here we are.
