Comment:
Another Soundtrack to a movie that never was. A hodgepodge of exotica, beat music, garage/psych, surf and healthy dose of Japanese Soundtrack Music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.By far one of the most fun to make (albeit a VERY long time to compile). But, for this mixer...a very big and SUPER SUPER good listen.Inspiration came from a series of simply jaw-droppingly awesome soundtracks released by the Ultra Vybe Label. Thank you Dusty Grooves Records (Warning: Stiff Prices found here). Track Titles, Artist and Liner Notes all in Japanese, resulting a perplexing tracklisting for this mix. My apologies. But, I can assure, it should not detract from the experience.
Feedback:
let me be the first to say: this looks amazing. the bad news: i'm only familiar with about four tracks on here... maybe if i learn some japanese i can research the rest ;)
Looks totally incredible! I would love to hear it if you can spare me a copy...
A fine listen!
Hey gnome, looks great. And I might add, ¦ΦҸשې۩₤Ựﭲﺻﻷ
Arigato 'Gnome! Far out & Far East!!! (I'd probably agree with Mixxer on his addendum.)

right back at'cha!
Looks like it was well worth the effort - Great work...!
Holy God I love this stuff. Japanese soundtracks from the 60's are rich with hidden gems...
WOW!
Brilliant Chris! I kicked off a mix with Yamasuki Singers a few days ago but got lost half way through (mixers block) and binned it. Youve inspired me to have another bash. Cheers
Splendid! No translation needed.
Special thanks for providing this to everyone. This looks absolutely fantastic.
Just listened to this. What a great, unfortunately non-existent movie!
Yes, I'm quite positive this translates into something wonderful. (I'll have to wait a few days to download). I'm sure the movie that never was would be worth sitting through if only for the stunning soundtrack. And one "moe" thing-- the postman left me a very nice ittle something yesterday :)
Thank the lord for a) You Send It & b) musicgnome. About to give this a listen. Can't bloomin' wait.
Wonderful stuff, Chris. Looking forward to kickin' back with a tropical drink and letting it sink in.
Oooh missed the link! Damn, as this looks beautifully spun...
Just having a wee browse of your back catalogue. This one looks very VERY good... you know if you ever want to re-post it on yousendit...
