General info in vol. 1 record.All of these are admittedly hits-heavy, which I usually try to avoid. However, I was working under the premise of these being introductions to American popular music, so I think it was justified. A few glaring omissions here due to time (i.e. no P-Funk; also wanted to use "As" instead of "Higher Ground," but c'est la vie).
