Comment:

The day after the 4th of July, it is weird to realize how much I love my country and how much I despise its leadership.

I'm with you (I had the same feelings yesterday). Very good mix, both in idea and execution.

Holy crap! There is a ton of fantastic mixes gracing the boards these days!!! this being one of those. Superbly compiled.I must make a comment: granted our leadership sucks, but when hasn't it? The ineptitude of office goes further back than I have been around(equally from both parties, mind you.) Secondly, where are all of these supposed "good" leaders? Europe? Asia? Africa? South America? Anyone? Anyone? Case in point: has anyone taking a close look at the U.N., lately? Holy f'n joke!?Sorry to vent, but it saddens me to keep seeing us (Americans) continuously take the brunt for the world's ills...even to the point in which we are, now, anxious to flog ourselves for taking steps (though done poorly) that no one else is willing to take. Lastly, why is it the positives of our nation goes completely unnoticed; even to the point of being taken for granted?Ahem, sorry to vent, definately not looking to offend. Kickass mix, once again.

an essential counterpoint to the fireworks! -- and - granted that most politicians in most countries in most eras are a disappointment, surely the current set of clowns running the USA have done more damage than any others in living memory? Partly just because they have such an inordinate amount of firepower, I suppose.

Clever mix . . . I won't get drawn on the politics (i get too angry). Great cover too! (By the way, I actually think that the leadership in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates in general have it (maybe) 70% right, which is more than most nations I can think of . . . . (OK, I did get drawn on the politics a bit).
