Comment:

Ahhh yes indeed, the side project. I put this together over the last few weeks and it is a selection of bands spawned from other bands, sometimes the side project became the main bread winner but mostly these artists created a vehicle with which to explore new ideas and sounds that didnt fit the template of their day job. I have quite a few more laying around but I would welcome any suggestions for a volume 2.

Very Cool! Great Breeders, Reindeer Section & Folk Implosion picks. I love the idea of 'The Bens' & I'm not sure I've heard track 2 but I certainly want to..

Imagine my fear when I spotted the title of this mix and, momentarily, thought of Leo Sayer -- thanks for that. Then further imagine my pleasure upon discovering the actuality. So, Barry, I say again, thanks for that.

Very impressive. Great concept. And, I can't get over how well this was compiled. Never woulda thunk how many quality tunes would have come out such ventures. Kudos to you!

Clever idea and superb research. The Bens was briefly a favorite around here, but Mr. Folds in the end captured the hearts and minds.

Dammit--I was hoping from the title that this would be a mix of Bruce Willis songs. He can really belt them blues.

I always find side-projects to be in the least interesting, so I dig this mix on that ground itself... but you've choosen some great side-projects from some of my favourite bands. Excellent mix.

Good idea... Frankly I'm relieved it's not some kind of "dream soundtrack" for the old Bruce Willis show...
