Comment:

this is my end of a mix exchange. it's kind of epic & sprawling in its sweep - my exile on main street, if you will. most of my mixes have a lyrical, subjective or topical theme - & if not, i try to give them a sonic theme that gels the songs together. i disregarded that approach here, & it shows in the different genres of music represented at a rapid change of pace. i bookended the whole ordeal with a couple classical pieces, & there's a bit of everything - from pop to indie rock, from country to folk, from soul to cabiret infused baroque pop - in between. i hope my recipient enjoys this as much as i enjoyed making it. title from the beck song.
