Comment:
ever notice how many songs start off with just a drum beat and nothing else? once i started thinking about this mix, it seemed i couldn't stop coming up with them. i started off with one of the most recognizable rock drum intros (second only to led zep's "when the levee breaks", represented here by the beasties) of all time. i tried to steer away from some of the more oft heard ones. there are plenty more to make another mix - as always, i'm open to your picks. enjoy!Feedback:
this is really, really fun. nice! i always thought zep's 'rock and roll' had the best drum intro. or maybe the stones 'get off of my cloud'. but you're right - they're a bit overplayed.
I agree with Sean, great idea and execution...I think 'High School' by MC5 would fit in nicely here!
