Comment:

Okay. So it's my first Double-Disc Monster, partially inspired by Conroy's stellar effort a couple of weeks ago and partly just because I've never done one before. Links in the first tracks of both discs. FYI-tracks are not joined together, but you may have to look at the playlist to get 'em in the right running order, as they're not numbered according to the playlist. Thanks to lo-fi jr. (again) for the Vincent Black Shadow track,

Great Oneida, Castro and Mary Chain picks. I like the Gal Costa track a lot too. Small world by the way ;)

OK, it's a biggie (quality, not quantity) and will take more than a passing comment . . . not a fan of Tom Petty or Thom Yorke personally, but the rest looks great. Thanks for the links (I really must learn how to do that). I am very excited about listening to this. Thanks.

I'm with Barrydali on the Costa track - wonderful, and a HOORAY for The Soulful Strings.

This is fuckin' tremendous, my friend. I'm glad to hear that my name could even be remotely associated with such a fine mix. I'll be downloading this from home later... Too many great tracks to name here, but suffice it to say that our tastes are, as always, quite aligned. Great work! This'd get *my* MotW nod at this point...

Oh, and I have to say I definitely prefer when the tracks aren't joined together, even if I have to spend a little time stiching the mix together, It's a lot easier to keep track of what I'm listening to that way. So, kudos for that.

Wonderful, Shawn! Good to see twice as much great stuff - I like this double-disc trend :) I love the look of the second disc especially with the Wu-Tang Clan into the Soulful Strings - like the J & MC pick in the first disc too. Good job.
