Comment:
Okay. So it's my first Double-Disc Monster, partially inspired by Conroy's stellar effort a couple of weeks ago and partly just because I've never done one before. Links in the first tracks of both discs. FYI-tracks are not joined together, but you may have to look at the playlist to get 'em in the right running order, as they're not numbered according to the playlist. Thanks to lo-fi jr. (again) for the Vincent Black Shadow track,Feedback:
Great Oneida, Castro and Mary Chain picks. I like the Gal Costa track a lot too. Small world by the way ;)
OK, it's a biggie (quality, not quantity) and will take more than a passing comment . . . not a fan of Tom Petty or Thom Yorke personally, but the rest looks great. Thanks for the links (I really must learn how to do that). I am very excited about listening to this. Thanks.
I'm with Barrydali on the Costa track - wonderful, and a HOORAY for The Soulful Strings.
This is fuckin' tremendous, my friend. I'm glad to hear that my name could even be remotely associated with such a fine mix. I'll be downloading this from home later... Too many great tracks to name here, but suffice it to say that our tastes are, as always, quite aligned. Great work! This'd get *my* MotW nod at this point...
Dig this...downloading................wait for it, wait for it.......now!!!!
What I know of is spectacular.
I'm with Rob. This really is fuckin' tremendous. Cheers for the link, I've been digging this for the best part of the afternoon. More Double Disc Monster Mixes guys!
i'm glad to see a fred neil track here, that man is so underrated. excellent picks from petty & the heartbreakers, ghostface killah, the JAMC, thom yorke... i'm with sam & rob, tremendous job.
Another speaker-testing MACH IV warper...!
MOTW!!!!
Very awesoe indeed. Will likely say more once it finishes downloading.
This is incredible.
Oh, and I have to say I definitely prefer when the tracks aren't joined together, even if I have to spend a little time stiching the mix together, It's a lot easier to keep track of what I'm listening to that way. So, kudos for that.
Both sides are freakin' unbelievable. Great work here.
Oh, this is right up my street. What a great listen. Thanks so much for the link!
Wonderful, Shawn! Good to see twice as much great stuff - I like this double-disc trend :) I love the look of the second disc especially with the Wu-Tang Clan into the Soulful Strings - like the J & MC pick in the first disc too. Good job.
Belated comment: My god this is fantastic! That Nina Persson cut makes my world change in a very good way.
That brainticket song is mindblowing.
