The Feelgood Factory
Comment:
A mix of sunny stuff to accompany me on my trip back to see the folks in Ireland. No rhyme or reason to this one, its just a bunch of songs that make me smile or sing along loudly. My 4 year old has already given it the thumbs up by dancing around to it last night so as she is the harshest critic of my music taste, I consider this to be to some degree at least a success. Thanks go out to Sam for waking me up to The Russian Futurists and to everybody at AotM for their influence, inspiration, and encouragement.Feedback:
we all need great feel good music, and 3 swedish acts aren't bad
children do seem the be the harshest critics of music, don't they? but i'd say it's success by not only those standards, but any other standard. this is great, i'm really digging this one.
Really great, particularly 8, 10, 14, 19-20 and 22. Have a safe and enjoyable journey!
Have a good one Barry!
I will join your 4 year old in giving this the thumbs up.
Is that SuperTed?! If only we knew what his magic word was...
Looks like much fun
GREAT opener!! The Hatfield track is the only other I know - at the moment - and it's cutecuteCUTE.
Looks brilliant - and I believe Luke79's right, that does look like Super Ted. Anyway, it's great to see the Hidden Cameras there, and I also love the Apples in Stereo -> Daniel Johnston section, as well as the Air and KoC. Nice!
Yes guys it is indeed the mighty Super Ted! An inspiration to us all.
Love these kinds of mixes. My granddaughter is 18 months and is very picky about what she shakes her groove thang to. Trust your daughter Barry, this is good.
Commenting before listening..... The first 6 are awesome, so is the stretch 14-20. Haven't thought about Glorious & Yes for years, so looking forward to hearing them again. All in all Poptastic. Damn right...
Wow. The feelgood factory churns out some great mixes. Love that Enon track and plenty of others on the assembly line.
I personally believe that bear is none other than Dr. Feelgood! This one looks Poptastic indeed.
A ray of sunshine. And, I gotsta ask...what happens to the bear?
Can't get the download, but thanks for putting it up, my technoincompetence probably is stopping me.Sunny stuff indeed . . . . love that Amen Corner pick (haven't listened to it in years tho). Enjoy the Guiness and the liquid sunshine!
Pop-o-Matic goodness from tracklist to cover art.
Lots I'm digging here... especially that Apples in Stereo track.
You've become much too much.
Great choice on the Amen Corner song, also dig "Mr. Nochalant" by them! The entire early catalog on Immediate is pretty good stuff.
