Comment:

A mix of sunny stuff to accompany me on my trip back to see the folks in Ireland. No rhyme or reason to this one, its just a bunch of songs that make me smile or sing along loudly. My 4 year old has already given it the thumbs up by dancing around to it last night so as she is the harshest critic of my music taste, I consider this to be to some degree at least a success. Thanks go out to Sam for waking me up to The Russian Futurists and to everybody at AotM for their influence, inspiration, and encouragement.

children do seem the be the harshest critics of music, don't they? but i'd say it's success by not only those standards, but any other standard. this is great, i'm really digging this one.

Looks brilliant - and I believe Luke79's right, that does look like Super Ted. Anyway, it's great to see the Hidden Cameras there, and I also love the Apples in Stereo -> Daniel Johnston section, as well as the Air and KoC. Nice!

Love these kinds of mixes. My granddaughter is 18 months and is very picky about what she shakes her groove thang to. Trust your daughter Barry, this is good.

Commenting before listening..... The first 6 are awesome, so is the stretch 14-20. Haven't thought about Glorious & Yes for years, so looking forward to hearing them again. All in all Poptastic. Damn right...

Great choice on the Amen Corner song, also dig "Mr. Nochalant" by them! The entire early catalog on Immediate is pretty good stuff.
