Comment:

the title is misleading. this is a birthday present for my friend, based on what i know he likes (scissor sisters) and what i think he'll like. because i know things about culture when he asks me ("what was this movie?" or whatever) he calls me "cultural expert." but he himself doesn't know much about music, so this is a guide to...some music. not comprehensive in any way.

This mix is of a really high quality. Standout tracks for me would have to be Magnetic Fields' "I Looked All Over Town", TV on the Radio's "Poppy" ( I can't wait to see the again October 12th with Grizzly Bear opening), and definitely Belle & Sebastian's "SeeingOther People". Well done !
