i just went through a very similar situation (with a very similar time-length), & i've got to say it's very liberating. (check out my "i used to be sad, now i'm just bored with you" mix for further evidence.) anyhow, i echo hemizen: good for you! & it doesn't hurt to have an absolutely fantastic mix to help you through the times either. prime cuts from otis redding, the smiths, the velvet underground, MBV - i'm assuming that ryan adams track is "memories of you," which is one of my favorite unreleased ryan adams tracks, & that coldplay song is the only one i like off x&y (i actually love that song). so, well done
