Comment:
No secret backwards messages in this one, just a bunch of fiddles, mandolins, banjos, guitars & songs that either sounded good to Daniel Boone or would have if they'd been written back then. So, let's head on down to the big barn dance!
Feedback:
Chicken kickin' music - I'm ready for a hoedown. Bring on the rutabagas, and the banjos and mandolins.
Joey de Vivre, this imix practially sings to me! The Cherryholmes's rednition of "Tallahassee" is really impressive. I was planning to use that in an upcoming mix, but it seems you beat me to it. (I might still use it again).I've seen the Cherryholmes in concert two weeks ago, and they are great! Don't miss them if you get a chance to see them. Always good to see Tim O'Brien, too. Now if this mix only was available for downloading...
Yippy-eye-oh-kyay and then some!
This looks excellent.
My, My, My! This mix would certainly make me Dance All Night..
Mr. DeVivre, the Vegetable Appreciation Board commends your tireless work on the part of under-appreciated tuber-themed songs everywhere. We would of course be more than honored to trade for this fantastic mix, and offer you a seat on our Board.
This looks like great fun. So many wonderful picks.
This looks like a lot of fun.
Play a little longer, boys! 'Cause I don't want this music to stop.
Weeeeeeell Dogies!
Eight more miles to Louisville... the hometown of my heart!
I wish I could d/l this now, but RutabaBAGA'S can't be choosers!
Yee-hah! This makes me want to kick up my heels and hop me some fences!
Nice. My rutabagas are getting sore just lookin' at it!
heck yeah! sounds like you should put it in my pile ... so to speak.
Crazy.., in a good way! (Just like the mastermind behind this.)
Take your partner by the hand, docey doh & turn around. More fun than a pig chase!
Must admit I couldn't remember exactly what a rutabaga was in English-English, so I looked it up and we're all on the same page now. If I could hear this mix and had one such vegetable to hand, I'd hollow it out and play along.Sport! - award yourself one gold star for pun of the week.
You know I dig it.
Nothing but a great package here.
This mix has been making me smile from ear to ear, driving around this weekend. Thank you so much! Buckets of Rain especially - totally convinced me that Bob Dylan covered it till I just looked it up online. Let me know what I can send yer way if anything tickles yer fancy.
