Comment:
Sammyg123 is to the Alternating DJ category what Barbara Cartland is to the novel -- prolific beyond belief. That he'd have the time for us, between his drinking binges and all his alt. dj cavorting, is a minor miracle. But thank goodness he did, as I think we've come up with two doozies here! Many thanks, Sammuel G. (Sam takes the lead on Side 1 while we kick off Side 2.) Click here for Side 1 and here for Side 2.Feedback:
Looks good to me.
Good lookin' stuff. Right up my lane.
Outstanding. Ray Wylie, BSoJC, Prine, all favorites on Side 2. Can't wait for Side 1. Thanks.
some favorites and lots of stuff i've been meaning to check out. thanks!
wow...this is a really solid mix! very nicely done :)
Damn good mix! Great picks.
Really great guys. Lots of brilliant songs. Barbara Cartland eh? Yeah I can see that...
Lots of great picks on this one.
The pleasure was mine, and thanks for the invite. The Barbara Cartland of AOTM? I hope that one doesn't stick..
Great Neko, Jenny Lewis, Jim White, Brown, Earle and Prine/Williams picks!
Sweet hubba yumminess! Looks like young Sammy's struck gold agin'!
Downloading currently. This looks overwhelming in a very good way. Can't wait to listen to it.
I finally got a chance to listen to side B. I love it, this turned out really nice. The mood is consistent, but there's enough stylistic variety to keep things interesting.
Pecan Pie & Pushkin, now you're talkin music I can sink my teeth into. You got it right with Jim White!
Very nice mix, love the R. Cash!
Good golly!
I'd agree with mahdishain on this one: a great mix of old faves and stuff I keep meaning to check out. The Barbara Cartland Allstars has a nice ring to it, too, no?
Next whiskey is on me.
