Comment:

In my boredom i soundtracked a fictional black comedy/teen horror flick set in the 80's. I see it as kind of a cross between Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Evil Dead II; possibly a bit Lost Boys-ish. Assuming it was in production now (so no-one moaning about how the stills weren't around in the 80's) i picked a selection of alt 80's classics (those not already plundered by donnie darko) and decent tunes from the darker end of the new wave revival plus a couple of wild cards; ie placebo - which i see playing over the end credits. I realise that red right hand is slightly tainted by its association with Scream, however it is a damn good song and could be put to better use i think. lightning blue eyes would soundtrack the moment when the two leads improbably get it on, but i hadn't really given much thought to the remainder of the songs and what scenes they would fit. If anyone is bored enough and fancies submitting casting or plot suggestions then i'd be worryingly interested in hearing them.

This is what life's all about...if you ever get even more bored and decide to make this movie, count me in as producer (and maybe co-star?). Too fucking cool :)
