Comment:
a little boredom induced pet project of mine - once i heard a movie was (probably) being made of the phenomenal graphic novel i thought i'd try and come up with a soundtrack. using a mix of seventies rock and pop and mid nineties 'bedroom emo' i hoped to get a kind of tense, internalised teen outsider sound that i don't think i would have been able to do just using music contemporary to the early-mid '70's setting - also i thought the two sounded good together. i thought 'the heretic' could be the weird electronic music keith hears in eliza's room and the guess who track would be playing at the drug dealers house. also had to put some bowie on there obviously - even if it does play over the credits.Feedback:
You've obviously put some thought into this. Nicely done.
I love doing this. The stream of consciousness this intrigues is fantastic. Love the tracks.
Wonderful...I loved Black Hole, and this really looks intriguing. Would love to dig out my copies and sit down to read with this playing in the background.
I hope it's an animation. Looks sweet!
Good effort and thought going into this mix. Would love to hear it one day.
