Rainbow Shades and Hobo Shoes: 29 fun, absurd and unabashedly joyous songs for Russel's 29th birthdayI mixed this on September 1 and 2, 2006, for my friend Russel, who writes and performs children's songs. I wanted to make him a mix overflowing with joyful songs to "let your hair down" to, no matter how silly or "uncool" the songs might be! I think I succeeded.The cover art is borrowed from a Winston Smith collage titled "I Beheld You in a Dream". The title comes from track 26, Arizona by Mark Lindsay. I burned 12 copies of the mix.
