The Psychedelic Rock Tumbler: British Isle Folk - Volume V
Comment:
Aaaaaaaand.....the tumblin is done! for now...Whew! There it is. Final installment of this planned chapter of the Psychedelic Rock Tumbler. Gotta say, that was a bit of a daunting task. Please note, undoubtedly, there will be a few missing faves amongst the artists highlighted, but the attempt was to comb my collection for: a.) great tunes and b.) more obscure artists, so that more of you mixers can try something a little different and new.Anyhoo, as with all previous volumes, I hope you enjoy. DOWNLOADS available on Track 1 and 11.
Feedback:
you are a psychedelic powerhaus, my friend!
Maddy Prior and Tir Na Nog -- it's Tuesday night at The Roebuck in Flixton during my hairy period (no childish jokes now). I feel the British government will soon be passing another essential law in order to safeguard those poor sheep -- surely they're grazing dangerously close to that crumbling tower...
A formidable series. Well muxed good sir.
with some sort of amazing coincidence, I am listening to Bridget St John as I type. Spooky!
A magnificent endeavor, extremely well done!
...and, apparently, yes, you do indeed trip like I do... Nice!
Most excellent but what does 'Tir Na Nog' mean, Van The Man has a song of said title too?
Tir Na Nog
Another fantastic series from the tumbler! Can't wait to see what gems it spits out next.
Very, very impressive (I am still digesting instalment IV, but this is next on the list). I'm sure there's an Irish pub around here somewhere called Tir Na Nog....
admirable stuff my friend...I just couldn't listen to too much of this...it reminds me to much of where I am at present living.
