Whoa... fantastic idea!! I especially love the opener and closer and... wait, no, that's not the point. Since we've already traded some mixes this sounds like a good thing to try, what do you say? (This list hits some zeroes for me... I sadly hold blanks in my hands for, say, Gene Vincent or Eddie Cochran....)

hey Abangku, as obvious as most of the artists are, i understand that for some people it might mean that they'll have to track a few artists down, but that's what's great about music? the 'discovery'. As an example when we originally put the list together 'nomates chose the Eddie Cochran. The only E.C tune i had on my itunes was 'Summertime Blues' (which i did'nt want to use) so in this case, i went out & bought a very cheap album (even cheaper if you buy 1 tune on line? in fact even if you had to buy the whole album, would'nt come to much?)& discovered a whole lotta new stuff. Give it a go!!

Eddie to the Clash to Dusty . . . are you mad!actually, I suspect that this is very listenable . . . good for dinner parties . . . (which is a compliment)

Many thanks, slippery. I had a right good time on this project. With such a fab gaggle of artists, how could it fail. I love both mixes -- though the rest of my household are a bit fed up with them now -- ha! What do they know? -- Bloody Palestines! (Ah, before someone goes off on one , the "Palestines" thing is meant as a joke) -- phew, that was close.Anyway, this mix is a corker. And, yes, we really must do this again...Where did everyone go?

Really great idea and you've got the songs to back it up too. Simple yet wonderfully effective! I applaud you both.

This is great, especially the 6 - 9 run. Will definitely try to recreate it from what I have. Thanks.

A great idea, slippery, and one that has produced 2 fine mixes. Excellent Beatles, Stones & Clash choices. Great Dylan closer...

i just realised & i was'nt concious of this at the time, but i did'nt want to do a greatest hits, in fact looking back through now, i don't think theres one obvious choice? (poss Iggy, though I can still thiink of another couple of his more 'well known')i guess they're just personal faves?
