Inspired by the nuclear showdown with Iran lately. The title is from the Barry McGuire Track.

Great idea, and well done. But might I suggest Sun Ra's "Nuclear War"?

Ominously good. Should you wish to end it on a hopeful note, try Roger Waters/Pink Floyd (The debate continues) - Two Suns In The Sunset "segued" (ha ha) with The Tide Is Turning. Love that CSNY track.

Great concept, some clever picks (though I would sooner have an icepick shoved through my temple than ever hear Men at Work again). I've been meaning to do an anti-war mix, which I think would look quite different (mandatory inclusions of Pink Floyd, particularly The Final Cut, and the Kinks' Arthur would be necessary).

I agree with you Pop Kulcher on the Men At Work comment, But "It's A Mistake" is probably the best track they ever recorded. Though Colin Hay's solo career is very good. I enjoy listening to him, but not when he's with Men At Work.

Scarily topical, & although I hope it doesn't come to that, Yo la Tengo also has a very appropriate "Nuclear War" --

(Seymour Hersh says there are those in the White House who are just itching to use nukes on Iran, but the unstable nuclear military dictatorship I'd really worry about is Pakistan . . .)
