Comment:
September is the Thursdayest month . . . ("season of mists and mellow fruitfulness") . . . so this CD is sort of autumnal, quasi-folkish, and watching the sunset -- or at least that's where it's coming from. Where it ends up is in the ear of the bee holder.Inspired by Moe's generous example, I guess I might do a giveaway quiz - one of these singers is covering a song written by one of the others (P.S. not counting the Flatlanders & JDG as "others") - - first one to name it, you got it if you want it!
-------------------------------------
Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are they?
Think not of them, thou hast thy music too.

Feedback:
Nice. (As a friendly anal-retentive helping hand, Fred's last name is spelled Neil and the song is called "I've Got a Secret (Didn't We Shake Sugaree)")... I can't think of the answer to your quiz question, I'm afraid...
Looks lovely and the quiz has me well beaten too!
Lots of favorites here!
Superbly Seasonal! Lot's of great stuff, including the only cover I recognize (Billy Bragg doing Woodie G).
The Prudence Johnson song is by Greg Brown - one of my favorites by him. I would love to get a copy of this, it looks great!
We have a winner . . .
cityfreeze, you got it in 1! just e-mail your address, & this will be going out to you in the morning. If you like Greg Brown, I bet you will like some of the others here too.

It ends up really sweet to me. Nice.
How very lovely. I'm feeling misty just reading the play list and looking at the cover.
Wonderful mix.
I can sense the flickering sunshine as I imagine this mix through half-closed eyes. It's the best way, I assure you. The ground is soft beneath the feet. A most evocative mix indeed.
This definitely will not be forgotten. Among your finest!
Damn, I wasn't in time to answer the question! Although, if truth be told I didn't have a clue. The mix looks lovely, a great selection of artists..
Lovely. Great quiz too! Bet my mom would have known the answer (she loves Greg Brown)
"Thursdayest" month indeed! This quite captures that by the look of it, too. Love the Donna the Buffalo and Hiatt choices here.., a lot.
Beautiful mix. I'd love to be in these woods right now.
Great selections for this fall mix.
I feel something autumnal coming on... Looks fabulous.
