My friend Andrea really liked a couple of punk covers that I put on CDs I made for her, and mentioned that it would be really cool if there were some sort of all punk covers cd. Now, I know that such animals do exist out there in retail land, most notably from Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and the Before You Were Punk series, but I decided to make one of my own. I found so much that I decided to make two of them - one of 80s covers and one of everything else. I think these CDs rock - they take tired or sucky (to me, at least) songs and inject some life and fun into them.
