Comment:

A sequel to the well received Rhythm Hymns. This one is more coherent and and is perhaps the best mix in terms of blending i've managed yet. It starts of slow but bear with me and you shall see, err the light. This time the hymns are accompanied by some lunatic preachers and testimonies by the converted... Praise be...

I should write a thesis about this mix. But stay those looks of despair. I am rendered "dumbstruck" by it. No words of my choosing would do it proper justice. Follow the link -- it may well be the best journey you've taken in an age. I may have to retire to a crofter's cottage on Uig and never mix again. Ha!Arise, Barrydali, a wonder of the age. Like the Lighthouse at Alexandria, you are a beacon that may save and inspire us all.

there's a hymn called I'm Thinking of My Sins? when I do that, another sin usually follows shortly thereafter. bad advice. great cover art anyway, and this mix looks wonderful!

Just gorgeous - non sum dignus, etc! The first track's a perfect mood setter (can't beat a bit of Benedictine) and I appreciate the Mogwai inclusion too. That Faint -> Ladytron -> Hot Chip trio is killer!

Siobhan's right, the opening is a brilliant set-up, and so's the track that follows. I'd be born again if I found a church that opened Sunday services with the hymn at #15.

This was a wonderful listen. I can't praise it enough mate. Loved the beautiful opening four before that great BOC track moved the mix up a gear. The Cinematic Orchestra-Hot Chip section, absolutely impeccable. And the feedback frenzy of the closing 2 confirmed it, a First Class Mix!

Great mix. Especially digging 3, 5, and 16.
