Comment:

Each piece on the set has a palindromic 'compliment', revolving around the pair of songs by Einstnrzende Neubauten; thus, "Voicings" is complimented by "Andromache," "Taireva" by "Return to Earth" et cetera. The multimovement peices by Johnston and Blackwood respectively are to be each thought of as a single unit, and compliment each other. Most compliments are only determined by the "feel" or sometimes a more tangible compositional element: the only direct thematic correlation is that between the corresponding pair of tracks 4 and 18, in which two different jazz improvisations on the same piece by Satie contrast.

Ingenious. I will hold this up to the mirror to get the full effect. Nice idea on the Satie pieces.
