Comment:

Gah! Has it really been since August that I've submitted one of these? I guess so. (though I don't always submit every mix I make, to be fair).Anyways, I've been on vacation from the job this week, so this one's been brewing for a while. There's a little bit of everything that's been in rotation for me over the last few months. (The rest will show up in another form (alt-dj) soon.) Here's some bullet points.
The Cities track is actually a local Interpol-ish type group that my wife is a big fan of. They're ok, I guess, but this track fucking slays and fits perfectly between the Goslings and Dead C tracks, believe it or not. That Melvins disc is the best thing they've put out in ages. Believe the hype!Blind Melon?-Hell yes!! Haven't listened to them in years, but recently got on a kick with them. Ripe for re-appraisal, says I. (note:I could definitely go forever without hearing "No Rain" again, though.) Thanks to the musicgnome for the crushingly beautiful Bobb Trimble track. So nice.
Link for download is in the first track. All single files, folks. Ripped @ VBR 128 to facilitate getting them all in one folder/one download. Hope everyone is doing well.

I like your 1-20 run of tracks the most. Damn, veritable who's who of faves. All you're missing is the Dead C. Oh wait! There they are....

So glad to see your smiling user name around these parts again. This looks like just the ticket for these cold New England evenings.

Great to see another one from you, Mr. Porter! This looks really top-notch; love the Nirvana, PJ Harvey and what a great closer. (One of those tracks that always works on either the beginning or end of a mix.) Many thanks for the link, too!

Oh man, tracks 7, 8 and 9 are straight outta my high school listening pile. Still love those three songs and bands. Great mix.
