Comment:

So, this user jokingly asked if I was married while commenting on my last mix, and it got me to thinking. I'm not married, but I am with the man I'd like to share my life with, and we certainly talk about it often enough, so I thought I'd put some of my thoughts on the matter to music. A few of these songs are "our songs"... songs we slow dance to at home, and songs that simply remind me of him.
Note: #'s 6 & 11 are two completely different songs. I wanted Patsy Cline's version for #6, but it wasn't quite in keeping with the sound I was going for on this particular mix. #7 is easily one of THE MOST romantic songs I've EVER heard, and my personal feeling is that this mix could only be made better if he'd change his name to Eddie. But I like it, and I love him. Just as he is.

Who knew that only 2 months later, our relationship would end?!

Yes, and he is a very lucky guy. This is a great paen to the joy of being in love. Couldn't agree with you more about #7. And I'm especially fond of #s 4, 10 and 11. Thanks.

Really nice picks, especially the Shirelles and Sam Cooke ones.
