Comment:

So my original intention was to make a soul tape for my friend. But then I realized I only had 90 minute tapes. And while I was working on side 1, it took a whole lot of songs to fill a side, so I was running out of artists (whose music I own).

So I asked my friend if she had any ideas for side two. She said "how about B?" because she was baking me brownies. So side 2 is all artists AND songs that start with B (if you couldn't tell)

The title is a reference to the Encyclopedia Brown series, where they talk about how you can't hide something between pages 157 and 158 because they're on the same page. And Encyclopedia Brown is written by Donald J Sobol. And SOUL + B = SOBOL (kinda)

Anyway, that's that. Two very different sides, but I think both sound pretty good.
