Feedback:
Wow, when you chose mixed genre you were not kidding. This looks super interesting, I would love to hear this.
That's the stuff you gotta watch!
Of course you can imagine I'm eager to hear that Penguin Cafe Orchestra tune, rubber band being one of my favorite instruments,
but the whole feats looks savory. AND a great cover package. Please please PLEASE include me in on your link . .

What a pile of shit, can you get any lower Chris,:) oh boy. I jest of course this is sheer class. What a closer!
Yes, yes, this looks quite tasty indeed. I'd love to hear this one too.
Love that Penguin Cafe. if its the cut I'm thinking of (was it in the Talk Radio Soundtrack?) and the War. Yeah, me thinks I need to hear this.
What a wonderful cover. Excellent. Hey, the mix aint too shabby either! Hal Blaine, Pioneers, Stereolab..yum. Nice to see Ty get some attention round these parts also.
Mark Petruccelli,You are correct, sir! But, that's not why had that song stuck in my head and chose it for this mix - paired with the thought "God, I know this from somewhere. But WHERE!?"So, to the internet I went. And, here's what I found... This song has been utilized in the following TV Ads: T Mobile One 2 One (circa 1999) & a Hewlett Packard Commercial. So, there it is folks. Thousands of albums, hundreds of thousands of mp3's AND... the song I find to be "super catchy" is from a TV commercial. Oh well. In my defense, I have not purchased either product.
Happy Turkish Day 'Gnome! Lolligag on the divan with a hookah! (Great K. Stoltz pick!)
Dubadelicious track there. This has me salivating mon ami.
choc full o'good stuff.
This looks really good, and I'd love to hear it. The Penguin Cafe Orchestra is the only track I know already.
I'd love to hear this, musicgnome. really like the few I know and your title is spot-on as well. Happy Thanksgiving.
yowsa!
You're setting some world records (as in LPs) with this one. Looking forward to the link to DL.
Love That Cover! And the bookend tracks are fab, too.
haven't been able to comment until now, but this was up to your usual high standards. so many favorites it'd be silly to try to list them all. since I'm silly, 26-23-20-17-15-14-9-6... but my #1 favorite may be Field Recordings from Syria. incredible stuff!
