Comment:

the concept for this manifested itself when, out of nowhere a couple of weeks ago, "i got a girl" by tripping daisy popped into my head. i swear i hadn't heard that song in ages; it's funny how your brain works sometimes. it got me thinking about all the songs i loved when i was in middle and high school (i'm 23 now, you do the math) and this is the first part of what i came up with; i was surprised i had more than one disc's worth. i need something like this that i can sing along loudly to in the car. further explanation is in the comments of disc two.

lol good times. "Reality Bites" and some classic Weezer and Rentals: that's what nostalgia's all about. Bonus points for "Radiation Vibe", one of my favorite pop recordings, that doesn't belong in my memories of my old school days or the '90s, but is still a perfect song to put just about anywhere

Yeah, I can remember being addicted to about half of these songs in high school, especially "Friends of P," "Novocaine for the Soul" and "Stuck on You."I'm already guessing what's on disc two before I get there. Toadies' "Possum Kingdom" and the Flies "Got You Where I Want You"? "Sex & Candy" and "Brick", maybe? "Flagpole Sitta" and "You Only Get What You Give"? You'll get extra points if you have Lusk's "Backworlds." Well, let's go see.
