Comment:

73 minutes, 98 MB. i think i wanted to get this one up over thanksgiving weeke_nd but i was busier than expected. explanation for this series and link to download disc one can be found here. i want to get the rest of these up before i head back east for the holiday so watch for them.
there's some strange stuff on this disc, i think. helen love's synth-pop driven cover of the ramones classic, daniel johnston's faithful ren_dition of "rudolph the red-nosed reindeer", and the fractured and slightly creepy track from the fall. there is, of course, the obligatory hanukkah track, a slightly disappointing effort from rilo kiley, and the catsk_ills version of darlene love's hit sort of falls flat but is adorable nonetheless. bunnygrunt's version of "blue christmas" is super sweet, and man...or ASTRO-man's surf rockin' "frosty the snowman" (from which the title of this disc is taken) is a long-time favorite of mine. let's all get through december alive.

Just the kind of presents to be found under a tree, especially in east Tennessee.
