Though not all these songs came out in 2006, this CD represents my musical mood for the year--an insatiable desire for artists that were new to me, a few artists I already loved, a couple of songs I was irrationally attached to ( you don't want to know how many times I've listened to "Rise Up with Fists!!"), and a couple of songs inextricably linked to certain events this year. Goodbye and good riddance, 2006.
