The third volume in my "A Wall of Pet Sounds" series. As with past volumes of AWoPS, this one owes a debt a gratitude to Moe's "Pet Soundalikes" series...three of four songs overlap but I am most indebted for "In a Funny Way" which I hadn't previously discovered on my own. To follow Moe's lead in giving away a free copy of the mix, first person to correctly answer the following question gets a free copy: Which two songs lift/sample directly from the Beach Boys? Moe, you are not allowed to guess - a copy will be on it's way to you after the holidays. Update: The mix has been updated with two songs removed and one added - there are actually now 3 that lift/sample the Beach Boys, still only two required to get a copy of the mix.
