Comment:
This is a really silly one, but it was a birthday present for my pal Grandmaster Dan, so that's not only okay but totally suitable.Opens & closes with "60 Minute Man", which is one of Dan's theme songs (because of the line "they call me lovin' Dan"), & because Dan's been known to perform his own inspired version, "60 Second Man" ("there'll be 15 seconds of pleasin', 15 seconds of squeezin', & 15 seconds of blowin my top") which always amuses the ladies.
Then a few "Lovin Dan" answer songs and the bulk of the CD is filled as you can see with "Dan" songs that were originally issued with their titles misspelled in various ways, here corrected at long last! You may know some of them under different aliases.

Feedback:
This is just great. The whole concept and the spirit of the thing. It's positively uplifting. "Grandmaster Dan" must be a good friend and all-round great bloke to deserve this. Long may he continue amusing those ladies, and long may you continue sharing such "silliness" with us all. Happy New Year to you both.
Ha! Took me a second to right myself, but once I did ... hoo boy. Good stuff. And a sweet gift.
Cute. It's funny, I was just thinking of that Kinks song the other day.
hmmmm, Zappa's "Dan, Sing 'Fool' " comes to mind. Careful, leave your tongue stuck in your cheek for too long and it may freeze that way!
...a fitting tribute to a guy named Grandmaster Dan!!
Looks like fun.
Looks like fun.
Amazing.
Yeah, Dan The Man, this looks like great fun.
I concur with Nomates. This whole thing is wonderful in every way, and Dan sounds like such a fun guy I almost wish I lived in Berkeley. Actually I wish I lived in San Francisco, then I'd hop on the BART to hang out with you & Dan the 60 Second Man.
It is about time some of those chronic misspellings get corrected. Dan's the night, away?
This phrase might not mean anything out on the left coast, but "Book-em, Dan-O."

My favourite Video game as a nipper was called 'Disco Dan' so that track sticks out as one to hear. Great concept, Mr De Vivre and no doubt a great listen. A fine way to kick off '07.
god dannit, this looks fantastic! happy new year, joey de vivre.
Who knew there were so many songs about Dan?! Where's REM's "What's the Frequency Kenneth," which was written about "Dan" Rather? That glaring omission aside, this looks Dantastic!
Very clever, my friend! Dan is quite a charmer. By the time they know it, the ladies are participating in Dan's Sin in the Moonlight, by King Harvest and are saying I Just Can't Stop--Dan's In, by Archie Bell and the Drells.
Orchid said it all for me.Having visited the Bay Area, all I want, now, is to return and stay.I could play this on the drive west...oh, to dream.
Who knew?!?
