One of my goals this year was to make a mix each month and send it to my friends scattered around the country. One month down, eleven to go. It also gives me a chance to use an account on a wonderful site that I've been ignoring. I know I left a void that can only be filled with mixes that can successfully incorporate both NOFX and the Monkees. So how've y'all been doin'?

Most of the tunes are what I've been listening to the past month or so. Splitsville's take on the real King of Pop Burt Bacharach may be the best cover I've heard in my entire life. The RIAA track is a brilliant mashup of "Gold Digger" and a mambo cover of "Iron Man." Meanwhile, I used my favorite CCR song near the end, a song also featured in a little movie filmed in my hometown. Maybe you've heard of it? We Are Marshall? (or maybe not by the box office results)
