The Sackful of Badgers, a message board I'm on, reinstated their mix swap. This time around, the theme was Around the World, which could be interpreted however you saw fit. I chose to bring the board to my corner of the world. Some of the songs name check West Virginia, some are from WV-based bands, and the rest are musical embodiments of the state's vibe. Personally, I think the bluegrass cover of "Ace of Spade" gets the last one down in a nutshell. I tried to mix the negative and the positive sentiments. My home state isn't the hell hole most people believe it to be, but sometimes it deserves a bit of criticism.
