Comment:
The title is taken from one of Olivia Tremor Control's albums. This is basically a collection of songs that remind me of being sleepless, of recurring nightmares, of Bosco-esque dreams, of being outside breathing the cold night air, or of being awake when the sun begins to clear my walls.Feedback:
Well done.
Nicely done. I especially like the Teenage Jesus, Lydia Lunch, Velvet Underground, and Suicide, and Thelonious Monk selections. Hell, the whole mix is good.
The title piqued my interest. The contents delivered. The Bday Party into Cab Calloway is intriguing!
Looks very interesting. Really like the VU selection.
The spectrum is A OK.
like this a lot . . . . and I know where you are coming from . . . . to avoid those sleepless nights, I've stopped drinking after midnight . . . . hope it works for you . . . . (or cry at night forever - I've been there for about 10 years too) . . . .
BTW, The Lou to Marianne does it for me . . .
The Monk - Orbison run, the Voidoids to Bauhaus stretch and the Lou Reed to Cab Calloway section are all inspired.
It's all good here but that Bowie tracks says it all..!
