The Valisian Psycle: An ongoing series of mixes inspired by (and in Tribute to) Valis; a means of saying "thank you" for his tireless promotion of present-day psychedelic music and for the numerous psychedelic publication recommendations he has made during the time I have come to know him.Well, Good Evening, Fellow Astral Travelers!!! Thank you all for listening. We hope to bring you a real good show, cause tonight, the Mind-Melt Listening Station will be airing tunes from twenty three of the scenes preeminent artists. And, I can assure you this. There will be much meltilicious goodness for all. So sit back and enjoy the show!Editors Note: Please forgive my brevity, as I am attempting to package and upload Volumes XII thru XVI, this evening. I hope to have these all readied for your listening pleasure by the next installment's posting. Excelsior.Feedback:
more greatness. i still love the 3 o'clock song - actually, i dig all their early stuff.
Don't know a whole lot on here this time, gnomie, but anything with Sir Julian on it along with other valisian type bands is right up my alley. Oh, and of course I know of Portastatic. One of my few name-dropping stories I can tell-Mac shops @ my co-op from time to time.
The mind-melt listening station has always been my favorite mix series of yours, and this volume is of course no exception.
I know very little on this one, but the prospect of an upload is very exciting indeed.
awesome! 7-11 takes me back to high school angst... 20-23 also solid. kudos.
I want twelve hours of these, a hit of Goofy acid or that blue pyramid, a warm beach, two packs of cigarettes, B vitamins, C vitamins, a kite, some bottle rockets and about ten glowsticks.
I wanna party on the beach with Jonpoi!
23 meltingly magical musical moments. Merci indeed Monsieur Le Gnome.
Wow. That Valis is one lucky cat. His team wins the World Series and now this. Good to see Cinnamon, The Three O'Clock and the High Dials getting some gnomelove.
Another amazing entry in this great series.
More Wonderment. Tripping Daisy, Strawberry Smell, High Dials.. Marvellous.
Nice one!
Is it possible for a track-list to retrigger chemicals dormant in my cerebral cortex for 27 years? Another amazing installment.
This one kicks! (I've been at the beach with jonpoi...)
