Comment:
The Valisian Psycle: An ongoing series of mixes inspired by (and in Tribute to) Valis; a means of saying "thank you" for his tireless promotion of present-day psychedelic music and for the numerous psychedelic publication recommendations he has made during the time I have come to know him.Final Mind-Melt in the Series. As such, mostly newly represented artists sequenced for your listening pleasure. And, as a special treat (or, at least I hope so), Mssr. Valis has provided links to the Volumes II and III on his blog, Trip Inside This HouseEditors Note: Much thanks to French Connection for the completely unexpected introduction to The Pubert Brown Fridge Occurrence!Feedback:
most of this is foreign to me, but i love the unicorns & jellyfish tracks among a few others that are familiar to me. i'll have to go digging up some of these...
Oh trTs bien Monsieur Gnome, don't know where to sart but 4,5,8,10, 14,15,17 & 19 have me salivating at just the thought of listening to em!
Likin the Boo Radleys, Spaceman 3 and Gorky's. Heck of a series!
Man, gnome, you are on some roll. So many great picks.
Ahh!!! Finally, I recognize some of these bands!!
What is next?

I know very little, but Asobi Seksu always hit the spot, and the Spacemen 3 pick is well worth a listen again (I had forgotten about them, I fear).
Since an actual Valis mix is a rare site on AOTM these days, it's good to these Valis-esque tributes in his absence. Another fantastic installation -- Boos, Gorky's, DoS and Jellyfish -- love 'em all. Fine cover as well, Major Gnome.
even i recognize some of the artists here - tremendous.
