Comment:
A vast narrative drawing ever deeper into the sun's gravity, chronicling the music of the nine spheres orbiting the sun. First the cold outer reaches of the solar system - the frostbitten abyss. Pluto emerges wraithlike from the void, a pocked planetoid, colder than Cocytus. A first glimpse of sunlight; sanguine, violet lustre across a meteoric landscape. Windswept Neptune wails by, its mercurial oceans churning, icebergs bathing in the dark glow of the distant sun. Uranus orbits with a monotonous `aum', its delicate rings a precursor to the colourful, icy coils of Saturn. Mighty Jupiter spins hypnotically, worshipped by its numerous and enigmatic moons. Through the oscillating asteroid belt the narrative traverses, entering the sun's inner garden. Mysterious Mars passes by, awash in fiery hues. Life-rich Earth dances frivolously with its silver moon whilst cyclonic storms swell across its turbulent oceans. Tempestuous, hellish Venus lies hidden beneath nebulous clouds. Scorched Mercury, aglow in ultraviolet waves and burnt to celestial cinders, stands dead before the radiant, all-powerful surface of the titanic Aton - the life-giving, world-destroying sun!
