This is my first submission here in some years - about three, I believe. I used to have another ID and I couldn't remember, so now I'm someone else... or something. I went through an eviction about a year ago, in the course of which I lost pretty much my entire music collection, which comprised some 1000 albums. Which helps explain the repetition on this mix. I only recently began building enough of a library to make mixes again. This is one of the first I was pleased with, and my first-ever CD mix. Looking over the list, I see a number of segues that don't work, at least on paper. Problem is, at a certain point one loses objectivity: It's all music I love, so of course it sounds good to me. Probably the most telling detail in this list is how little new music is on it... it becomes more and more difficult to find new stuff I have much passion for. I turned off the radio in our house the other day and when my girl asked why, I replied, "They don't even play MUSIC anymore.... just noise." I swear, felt like my Grandfather for a minute. The Generation Gap is inevitable.
