Comment:
Well, clearly this is an old mix. Work seems to get in the way of mixing, especially since there's currently no computer at home. Lots of nice stuff on this. Beyond the greatness of the obvious (Della Reese, John Martyn, B. B. King, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan), many of the pop and less known blues cuts are really good. Rod Piazza makes a damn good record, the Eddie C. Campbell is a solid Chicago bluesman, the Chieftans cut, the Nil Lara cut, the Del Amitri cut, all nice pop-ish songs. Still plays well after 4 years.Feedback:
i would sure as hell bet this still plays well after 20 years -- it's absolutely fantastic
Lots of cool tracks here. I'll have to look out for the Chieftans, Nil Lara and the Del Amitri.
Don't hide your light under a bushel basket-Let It Shine!
Yeah . . . this is a great mix. I'd probably be cryin' in my vodka by the last 5 tracks.
Classic stuff.
Wonderful!
Nice to see a mix from you, whether it's old or new. ;-)
Undeniable - good to see ya around.
Fantastic!
as Sean says, "Good to see ya around." Likin' the Scottish contingency here especially.
Top class!
