Comment:
One of those summertime collections. Particular favorites are the Kid Bangham, et al. Charley Patton song, the funny and all-too-true Michael Shelley cut, the Turin Brakes (the only song I have heard of theirs), the Led Zeppelin song, which I continually have to remind myself is the Zep, and the can't-hear-this-too-many-times version of Summertime. Thanks to George Metadata for the Bebel Gilberto.Feedback:
there's no such thing as too many summer mixes - love the who, led zep & gillian welch the mostest
Definitely has the summer feeling. Too bad summer is almost over. But, where is the... link?
Summers almost gone over here but I still love to look of this
Yeah, summer will be over any day now. That said, this looks like a fine mix.
Loving 3-5, 10, 17 & 18.
Perfect.
Has it been Summer? Would never have known over here in France! Love 9,15, 17 & 18.
I love this.

Awesomely eclectic!
You bet. And what a miserably hot summer it's been....
thanks for the download. i've got wonderful summer stuck in my brain and that's a good thing.
haven't heard that Turin Brakes in an age . . . nor that Ron Sexsmith . . . . I discovered the Who, live at Leeds this summer, however - what a belter !
cool!
I think SwankQueen pretty much SUM-ed it up - great mix!!
Ooh, ooh, ooh! A Media Vixen mix! Ooh!
Sure is lots to like here.
To celebrate summer in London this year songs will refer to umbrellas, clouds, storms and rain, rain, rain. Some good stuff here.
what a sum-mah time treat!
Looks painstakingly awesome!
Although it's now Summer 2008, I would still absolutely love to sip a limeade and while away the hours listening to this. The Janis! Ah, the Janis! You make the mixing seem oh so easy.
