Comment:
Ok you guys. Your very kind and appreciated words on my other recent submissions actually spurred me to MAKE A NEW MIX! Rare these days. This was one that was in process when I spaced out into work. My favorites among the lesser known (as opposed to the Bjork, Grace Jones, and Johnny Cash cuts) are the Little Esther, Brigette McWilliams, and the Joe Henry cut. Love them all. Now, it's starting to look suspicious that another mix of mine has a Brian Kennedy song ... I got this disc out of a newspaper in Dublin and it just fit the theme.Feedback:
Great opening trio ( especially Alicia Bridges, always makes me smile ). A few here I need to check out such as your recommendations and that intruiging looking closer...
Really like 4-7 and 14 & 15.
Beautiful.
Hooray! This looks like classic Sally!
This looks fun.
nice piece of work
wonderful!
Solid Stuff. I've been seeing Grace Jones' name pop up in many places. Possibly a sign for to take a listen.
all that time spend away has done nothing to diminish your gifts -- this is absolutely wonderful
That 4-7 run is simply wonderful
This is gorgeous. I love both the Lenoard & Elvis slections, and of course, you can't go wrong with B.B. Haven't heard Grace doing La Vie En Rose, but I bet it kicks ass. Nice to see you back!
