Comment:
My 101'st mix on the good ship AotM and there was a time there when I thought there would never be another. This is for all the good guys... Anywhoooo Labels? We don't need labels. Music is music! Having said that, this is my retrospective of Sarah records. 2 discs of indie bliss, jump in, the water is warm. P.S Is there a more overlooked pop song than Her Boychart?Feedback:
love the twee pop
AH! i am DOWNLOADING IMPATIENTLY! this is BLISSFUL! love love love it!
twees good
Arms held open in rapturous welcome - he's back yippee. Here's to the next 101 mixes Barry, this is freakin' ace.
very cool.
as always, don't know much here, looking forward tp listening - thanks for the link, and welcome home (yippee indeedy!)
Great stuff Barry. After your 200th mix you can take another break.
My education continues. Cheers, Barry. Good luck to your lot on Tuesday (can't believe I said that!). See you in Athens (ha ha...
One of my pals from University called this music "too pussy" and ragged on me for liking stuff like this. Good times! Anyway, this is freaking beautiful.
Don't recognize much hereon - but looks intrig-i-fying.
This is a tremendous tribute to an oft-overlooked (even by me) label. Great work, my friend.
Great job, Barry!
You made me go back to the times of the lovely Sarah... but, well, did they ever actually pass for all of us who loved its music?

oh, I see: "2 discs of indie bliss." my god, for a minute there I thought you had reverted back to... cassettes! great to see you back, chum, and can't wait to hear this. the only Sarah I know real well is my sister.
Good to see you haven't gone missing after all! I am not nearly as familiar with this label as I should be, which makes me all the more grateful for this mix.
Count me with the "don't know much here but am looking forward to hearing it" crowd. I have a single cut by the Orchids on a Brit Girl Group comp (assuming it's the same Orchids) and am looking forward to hearing more, I as I really like "Mr. Scrooge."
Field Mice & Trembling Blue Stars choices are 2 of my All Time Fave 'Indie Picks', haven't listened to this in full yet but looking forward to it. I trust you on Harvey Williams btw. Cheers for the share. Oh, and Welcome Home....
This looks very very interesting. I dont know a lot here, but i really love, Another Sunny Day, The Springfields, & The Orchids picks.
Tremendous. Truly off the charts. I'd pick this up in a heart beat.
killer
real cool stuff, Barry. disc one favorites are Talulah Gosh and East River Pipe. disc two: The Springfields, Secret Shine, Tramway... and my pick of the bunch is "Crush the Flowers" by The Wake. I'll have to check this label out.
I cannot believe that I missed this... Absolutely stunning.
