Comment:

A bunch of really good covers, mostly of songs/artists I have at one time or another deemed "uncoverable." Some I actually kind of like better than the originals...Ben Folds's "Bitches Ain't Shit" is absolutely golden.

The two Dylan covers are from a CD of Columbia-based artists called "Million Dollar Bash," with some really diverse and well-done Dylan covers. The Bockman number almost moved me to tears the first time I heard it, in that '90s nostalgic Gin Blossoms kind of way.

This has some of my favorite covers on it. I would have liked to see Nirvana's cover of "The Man Who Sold The World," on here though. Also, Tortoise and Bonnie "Prince" Billy did a fantastic cover of Daniel (by Elton John). If you haven't heard it, you should check it out. It's pretty dreamy.
