Comment:

I made this mix in 2003 right after the release of Lucinda Williams' CD, World Without Tears. Since then, it has been one of my favorite mixes I have made (another favorite being the Lucinda duets mix I copied from this website, Every Inch of My Body, Every Mile of My Soul). Sharp Cutting Wings is my all-time favorite Lucinda song, but I enjoy all the other songs on here. Lucinda Williams is a great singer and songwriter. Since I made this, I have heard some songs from her new CD West as well as her first CD Ramblin' that may force me to make a new Lucinda mix . . .

Thanks for the comments :) I think her new CD is great too. I would probably add Everything Has Changed, Are You Alright, West, and Learning How to Live.

I just updated my Lucinda Williams mix (Waiting For Your Essence) to included stuff from Live@the Fillmore and West. She's my favorite living female artist.

I am in love with her voice. "Waiting for Your Essence" (Essence)is my fav because of its personal meaning for me but every one of these songs on this mix I can close my eyes and feel her words. Excellent mix!
