Fred is a channel on XM that plays alternative music from the late 70s to the early 90s. At various points during the year, they do a marathon lasting several days counting down their top 2000 most requested songs. This mix is based on their countdown from 2005, with some of my favorite songs included. FYI -- in 2005, the top five most requested songs were Blue Monday, Love Song, London Calling, How Soon Is Now, and Lips Like Sugar.
